2011 Ford Fiesta Hatchback Car While many feel that the Ford Figo will replace the Fusion, we feel otherwise. This, primarily because the Fusion was a much bigger and a more powerful car than the Figo, not to mention the higher price it commanded. We are more inclined to name the Ford Fiesta Hatchback as the Fusion’s replacement as it could fit right into the price point of the erstwhile Fusion.
As other manufacturers like Volkswagen and Fiat bringing in their premium hatchbacks, the Fiesta hatchback could be the perfect challenger from Ford. In addition to all this, we’ve been spotting the Ford Fiesta Hatchback testing in and around the outskirts of Chennai, further bolstering our view. Anyway, we’ll find that out pretty soon. Ford Fusion Hatchback PictureFord India has formally announced that the Ford Fusion will be discontinued even as it will drive in the Ford Figo hatchback in March of this year. The Fusion hatchback, though a very capable car just couldn’t sell in India as it was in a segment of it’s own, a segment that was a not-so-popular one.
The Fusion’s high price also deterred many buyers who alternatively settled for sedans or even MPVs like the Toyota Innova.
